Invent Something

medical invention29 Invent Something

There are many inventors everyday who invent extraordinary things which improve our daily lives. Some invent medical instruments to relieve daily physical stresses. Others invent new forms of communication whether through phones or sites like Twitter. And others stumble upon inventions by chance such as Charles Goodyear who accidentally learned the process of vulcanization by accidentally dropping raw rubber on a hot metal surface. Many inventors have no formal scientific training and often make their inventions through simple common sense. The need a widget that does x and y, so they build another widget with the same elements of x and y which fixes whatever need they have. For instance, if someone were to need a laser pointer and a ball point pen, but do not want to carry both in their pocket, they would simply manufacture a housing with the pen on one end and the laser pointer on the other. Now although many of these inventions can prove to be very useful and marketable, not all are necessarily patentable. In order for an invention to be patentable it must be one of its kind. But more importantly, it… More >>

Easy Invention Ideas

economic invention1 Easy Invention Ideas

Easy invention ideas? Why easy? Sometimes it’s just too intimidating to think about building a new type of car, television, or other complicated invention. So these are ideas for garage or basement tinkerers. Coming up with a prototype for most of these will cost no more than the money in your pocket. They are not patented yet, as far as I know.Wild Game CarrierDeer hunters regularly die of heart attacks while carrying their bucks out of the woods. The invention here would solve that problem. It would have an inflatable wheel, using coated nylon that won’t puncture easily. Once you get your deer, blow up the wheel, and using the clamps on either side, you attach two poles or sticks that you cut on site. Attach the simple nylon sling between the sticks, and you have a wheel-barrow-like device that will carry a deer over even rough trails. Probably weighing no more than two pounds, it could be carried easily in a day pack.Helium KitesPerhaps its been done, but I haven’t seen them sold yet. With some lift from the helium, these kites could be flown in any… More >>

Patient scheduling should work to make patient traffic predictable and efficient to ensure good revenue flow, and patient satisfaction.Advantages of Medical Office Patient SchedulingGiven below are some of the common advantages associated with medical office patient scheduling:- Easy location of vacant time slots for a patient. – Automated or phone based appointment reminders help to reduce no-shows and missed appointments. – Multi-user and 24/7 accessibility. – Enables appointment schedules to be accessed from wherever there is internet access. – Appointments can be viewed by day, month or week. – Appointment details can be shared. – Minimizes overbooking situations. – Can work with multiple office locations and physicians. – Separate appointment schedules can be made for… More >>

Humankind’s Greatest Inventions

science invention14 Humankinds Greatest Inventions

There are a number of amazing inventions that have been created during the course of human history. Some of the great ones that come to mind are:–The printing press–The electric light–Electrical power plants and the infrastructure for the mass distribution of electricity–The telephone–Recorded sound–Radio–Television–The photograph–Moving Pictures–Digital video–Concrete–Steel–Plastic–The automobile–Paper–Vaccines–Rocket–Nuclear power–Satellite communications–The internetI could list many more. Each of these inventions is amazing and have greatly improved the lives of billions of people. As great as they are, there are three inventions I believe tower above all of these. Without these three inventions, none of these would exist. Humankind would still be living in the prehistoric age. Many of us would have never been born. What are these three inventions? They are:–Language (written and spoken)–Mathematics–MoneyThese are not usually classified as inventions. I classify them as inventions in the broadest sense because they were created by humankind. There was a time when language, mathematics, and money did not exist. They had to be created over the course of time.Language is the mechanism whereby we are able to communicate to ourselves and to others using sound and symbols put together as words, sentences, and… More >>
